TO MY YORUBA FRIEND FOR HIS PERFIDY ARTICLE AGAINST THE IGBOS. THIS IS THE TRUTH I WANT NIGERIANS TO KNOW.

I'll believe it that you are either having a distorted perception of reality or you are living on lies peddled by your fathers.

The more you try to bury facts and truth, the more the inconsistencies of your hypocrisy and lies continues to surface. You can never murder history. It's not possible!

I hope you can revisit the annal of our history to know that your father AWOLOWO was a betrayal to the Igbos. Also pay attention to the role played by the following Igbo men (Maj. Albert OkONKWO, Maj. Emmanuel IFEAJUNA, Sam AGBAM, Brigadier Hillary NJOKU ), if they never wanted the unity of Nigeria. The 1966 NZEOGWU coup was planed with Awolowo to make him the prime minister. This can be proven by the disclosure made by MR. ODIA OFEIMUN the former secretary of political giant of the defunct Western Region, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, FOUR decades after the 1966 military putsch and 20 years after the death of the sage. When he realized that the coup has failed, he sneaked to the side of Federal Govt.   Visit this link......

GOOGLE : Major Kaduna Nzeogwu First Military Coup Broadcast – 15 Jan 1966,  and check if there was any thing in favor of the igbos alone in the content of his speech

Has any one care to ask: was it actually the igbos alone that planned the coup? The Nigeria media has decided to keep the names of the Northerners and the Yoruba s involved in the coup under the Vail and only published that of Igbos alone just to justify their claim and to have a reason to kill our people in the name of revenge mission.

The following are the non igbos involved in the coup
CAPTAIN, ADELEKE - YORUBA
LIEUTENANT, FOLA OYEWOLE - YORUBA
BRIGEDIAR, VICTOR BANJO - YORUBA

Fajuyi deceived others (The Majors) into the coup while he played a latent role. Ironsi only aborted the coup, arrested and jailed not less than hundred and thirty two people in connection with the coup. Who and who killed during the coup is a question that only Fajuyi can answer. Fajuyi organized the coup to release Awolowo from Calabar prison. Northern soldiers killed Ironsi because of failure to bring the coup plotters to book withing six months. Ironsi died because of Fajuyis’ sin. As nemesis may have its way, the day Ironsi was assassinated, He was together with Fajuyi. Even though Danjuma never knew Fajuyis role in the coup, other soldiers of the 4th Battalion who took part in Ironsi’s assassination, like Lt. Col William Walbel (Rtd) knew Fajuyi’s roles very well. Yorubas are self acclaimed great people. They use media as a tool for their political propaganda. This is why they published “FAJUYI THE GREAT” in the Western regional Publication of 1967. They claimed that Fajuyi shielded Ironsi. Even though he had an option to live if he chooses to do so

Before the war, Maj. Victor Banjo who was abandoned by the Yorubas while jailed by Federal Govt. He fought in side of Biafra because of the love he had for Ojukwu, because Ojukwu never abandoned him. Ojukwu took care of him when his Yoruba brothers abandoned him. The Victor Banjo, Maj. Emmanuel Ifeajuna, Philip Alale, Sam I. Agbam  and Ademoyega from Mid West were the Biafra men who lead the team that advanced from Asaba and captured Ore withing 12hrs and even advanced 300km into Nigeria capital of Lagos. There mission was to capture Lagos and DODAN Barrack. At Ore, they made contact with AWOLOWO and Awolowo was still interested in the Primeministership, so they planed to move back and kill Ojukwu, then go back and kill Gowon (while he will be carried away in jubilation that Ojukwu is dead) and also kill Maj. [Dr] Albert Okonkwo who was commanding the Mid West, thus creating the room to put Awolowo as the Prime minister.

They called for the withdrawal of Biafran troops from Midwest, Nsukka, Enugu, Onitsha and they were even shelling Onitsha with Biafran artillery to sow panic even long before the arrival of federal forces.

“the plotters intended to take Brigadier Hillary Njoku, the head of Biafran Army into custody and bring him to the State House under heavy armed guard ostensibly to demand of OJUKWU that Njoku be relieved of command on the grounds of incompetence.

Once inside the State House, Njoku’s guards would be used against him. Ifeajuna would then declare himself acting Governor and offer ceasefire on Gowon’s terms.  Banjo would go to the West and replace Brigadier Yinka Adebayo, the military governor of Western Region. Next Gowon would be removed and Awolowo declared Prime Minister of Reunited Federation.”   “Victor Banjo, Ifeajuna and others kept in touch with co-conspirators in Lagos via British Deputy High Commission’s facilities in Benin.

The plan failed as Ojukwu got the information from his intelligence over Banjo, as he Ojukwo knows that a Yuroba man has been known for betrayal. He arrested them, court martial them and executed them by firing squad......The same Awolowo was the one that told Gowon to deprive the Igbos of food, if he wants to win the war.

To remind you again,

Banjo “freely admitted in his testimony that a group of Yorubas on both sides of the battle were plotting together to take over Lagos and Enugu governments and unite Nigeria under Chief Awolowo.  Gowon, Ojukwu, and Okonkwo were to be eliminated; Gowon was to have been killed by Yoruba officers in the Federal Army.” He said further “when arrested on the night of 19 – 20th September, Banjo offered no resistance because he said then it was too late to stop the affair and the plot was already in motion.

Maj. (Dr.) Albert Okonkwo never wanted Gowon to be killed because he needed the unity of Nigeria and in the fearful that the assassination of Gowon would prevent  the heads of state mission of the Organisation Of African Unity from coming to Nigeria. Okonkwo believed that “the OAU mission held the best hope of sorting out the Nigerian civil war.” On the night Banjo was arrested, Okonkwo  telephoned Gowon to warn him  of the Banjo plot which “would break very soon.” Whether Ojukwu knew of or agreed with Okonkwo’s warning to Gowon is unknown. However, on 20 September, after the warning, “roadblocks were suddenly and rather severely enforced in Lagos. They were removed after about 48 hours as mysteriously as they appeared,”.

THIS IS THE TRUTH I WANT NIGERIANS TO KNOW.

Now the question remains

* who is to be blamed; the Igbos or the deceitful Yurobas?
*Who has suffered the consequences of wanting to cleans Nigeria?
* Now the truth is known, what next?
